Connections Food & Resource Center in Weatherford, OK, is a healthy food and a client-choice food pantry, as well as connections to other services for family stability. We provide shopper-choice shopping, greater access to food through extended hours and days of operation, and increased access to fresh produce.
Connections serves 15 cities: Arapaho, Butler, Clinton, Colony, Corn, Custer City, Eakly, Fay, Geary, Hammon, Hinton, Hydro, Lookeba, Thomas, and Weatherford.
The Federal Poverty Guidelines are as follows:
A household size of 1 must make less than $31,300 per year ($2,608/month or $607/week)
A household size of 2 must make less than $42,300 per year ($3,525/month or $820/week)
A household size of 3 must make less than $53,300 per year ($4,442/month or $1,033/week)
A household size of 4 must make less than $64,300 per year ($5,358/month or $1,246/week)
A household size of 5 must make less than $75,300 per year ($6,275/month or $1,459/week)
A household size of 6 must make less than $86,300 per year ($7,192/month or $1,673/week)
A household size of 7 must make less than $97,300 per year ($8,108/month or $1,886/week)
A household size of 8 must make less than $108,300 per year ($9,125/month or $2,099/week)
For each additional family member, add $11,000 to the annual income, $917 to the monthly income and $213 to the weekly income.
Client-choice food pantry: Shoppers can select their own items in a setting similar to a supermarket.

Item availability: The pantry offers shelf-stable, refrigerated, and frozen foods, as well as fresh produce.

In addition to food, the Connections Food & Resource Center can connect clients with additional services to help improve self-sufficiency, often by partnering with other local agencies.
